Massive Fire Destroys Bamka Bazar In Bajura

Jun 06, Kathmandu- A fire that broke out at Bamka Bazaar in Budhiganga Municipality-6 of Bajura has destroyed the market area.

According to Mayor Ram Bahadur Baniya, more than 40 shops have been gutted in the fire.

According to him, there was no human casualty in the fire. He also said that the fire department was not available in the municipality.

"Efforts are being made to control the fire with the help of dozers and water tankers, not fire engines. It is about to be brought under control," he said.

The District Police Office, Bajura, has informed that a gas cylinder exploded and caused a fire at the Navadurga Hotel in Bamka Bazaar.

According to police, the fire broke out at 3:55 p.m.
