Jun 08, Kathmandu - Two people have died and 35 others have been injured in a bus accident in Dang. Two people have died and 35 others have been injured in a bus accident in Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City-13, Bakhariya.

Surya Rana, police spokesperson at the Area Police Office, Tulsipur, informed that 25-year-old Narayan Bhandari and Shanta Khadka Chaudhary of Simaltara, Dangisharan Rural Municipality-1, died in the accident. According to the Area Police Office, Tulsipur, a passenger bus (Na 4 Kha 4009) going from Goltakuri in Dangisharan to Tulsipur and an empty bus (Ra 1 Ka 870) of Gyanjyoti Boarding School going from Tulsipur to Bakhariya collided with each other, causing the passenger bus to fall about 5 meters off the road.

All the injured have been taken to Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur for treatment. The drivers of both buses have been taken into police custody. Police said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
