Panchpokhari T20 district-level cricket tournament to be held at Tribhuvan University grounds

Jun 09, Kathmandu - The District Level Panchpokhari T20 Cricket Tournament is to be organized in Kirtipur. The organizers, Panchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality and Sindhupalchowk Cricket Association, informed about the tournament on Monday.

The competition will be held at the TU Cricket Ground from tomorrow (Tuesday) to Ashadha 2. Seven teams from Sindhupalchowk will participate in the competition.

Only residents of the district, including two players who have participated in provincial and international competitions representing Bagmati Province in various age groups, will be allowed to participate in the team.

The first place winner in the competition will receive one hundred thousand rupees and the second place winner will receive 50 thousand rupees along with a trophy, medal and certificate.

The best player in the individual category of the competition will be awarded the 'Man of the Series' award, the best batter will be awarded the 'Best Batsman' award and the best bowler will be awarded the 'Best Bowler' award.

The Great Himalayan Cricket Academy (GHCA) will provide free cricket training for 6 months to the best player of the competition and three months to the best bowler and best batter. Similarly, Angels Sports Cricket Academy will provide free cricket training for three months to the best player of the competition.
