Jun 13, Kathmandu - Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Manish Jha has said that the agitation will continue until a parliamentary inquiry committee is formed into the visit visa issue. He made the remarks while speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives on Friday.
“Our agitation will continue until there is a satisfactory answer, a high-level parliamentary inquiry committee and justice for all the Nepalis who were cheated and robbed by it,” Jha said.
He said that 11 House of Representatives meetings have been disrupted for 18 days in the visit visa case. Expressing gratitude to other opposition parties for their cooperation, he said, “The visit visa case and organized crime related to human trafficking have been proven with sufficient evidence by the Ministry, ministers and employees.”
He said that the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) had written to the Ministry of Home Affairs nine times from 2081 Kartik to 2082 Baisakh. He said that Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak did not pay attention to the CIAA’s mischief and asked it to pay attention.
“When the CIAA started to attack, why did it pull its employees,” Jha said.
