Jun 19, Kathmandu - Nepal Workers Peasants Party's lone House of Representatives member Prem Suwal has raised the question of whether the prime ministers who have been in power so far should be held accountable in the visit visa issue.
Addressing the House of Representatives meeting on Thursday, Suwal questioned why only people are being exported from Nepal.
"The question is being raised, why are only people being exported? Is there nothing to export except people? Shouldn't those who have been in power so far be held accountable?" he said, "Today, lawmakers are obstructing the House by raising this voice. I would like to draw the attention of the Speaker".
The Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and the RPP have also come out in protest, demanding an investigation into Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak in the visit visa case. The RSP has launched a well-being gherao, while the RPP is boycotting.
