Iran's clarification: We are not targeting any hospital

Jun 19, Kathmandu - Iran has issued a clarification after a missile it fired this morning (Thursday) landed in an Israeli hospital, injuring several people.

Iranian state media claimed that the target of the missile attack was a military base near Soroka Hospital in Beersheba.

According to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), the attack was carried out on the Israeli army's command headquarters and an army intelligence camp located in the Ga-Yam Technology Park.

The report states, "The hospital was only exposed to the blast wave, no serious damage was caused. The military infrastructure was a precise and direct target."

But according to Israel's emergency service, Magen David Adom (MDA), at least 65 people were injured in Iran's latest attack.

Israel has accused Iran of deliberately targeting civilian areas, saying its missiles damaged the Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva.
