Jun 21, Kathmandu - A young man has died of electrocution in Rautahat. Sawal Kushwaha, 22, of Ramdasi village, died after being electrocuted by a water-pulling machine in his own field in Fatuwa Bijaypur Municipality of the district last night.

He died of electrocution, said Chief Inspector Surendra Prasad Yadav of the Area Police Office, Bijaypur.

On Friday night, he was electrocuted while trying to connect a wire from an electric pole to draw water to his farm. He died on the spot, Inspector Yadav said.

The body of the deceased has been sent to the Primary Health Center Chandranigahapur for postmortem, police said. The incident is being further investigated, according to the Area Police Office, Vijaypur.
