Jun 22, Kathmandu - Security has been heightened in the US following attacks on three Iranian nuclear sites.
In the immediate aftermath of the attacks, security was heightened in major cities across the US, including New York and Washington, DC.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) said it was closely monitoring the situation in Iran.
Similarly, the Metropolitan Police of Washington, D.C., said it was also closely monitoring the situation.
It has been informed that it is coordinating with various security agencies and exchanging security-related information.
Police have stated that there is no immediate threat to the city at present. However, as a precaution, security arrangements have been tightened at religious places.
