Jun 24, Kathmandu - Foreign Minister Arzu Rana has said that there are 16 Nepalis in Iran. Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives, she said that she has received information that 5 of them are in Iranian jails because they went there illegally.
She said, "There are 16 people in Iran. We have requested the Indian Ministry of External Affairs to bring 11 people with their citizens.
They are in a place called Masad. They will arrive in India by tomorrow." She said that they are trying to bring the five people who are illegally in Iranian prisons.
