Nepal defeated Saudi Arabia 3-1 in Group 1 of the tournament in Tashkent, Uzbekistan to reach the pre-quarterfinals.

Nepal, which has collected 3 points, has reached the pre-quarterfinals by becoming the runner-up in the group, according to team captain Jacky Maharjan.

Pravesh Basnet, Himal Bista and Gananjay Dahal are participating in the men's category from Nepal. India and Saudi Arabia are in Nepal's group.

India, which defeated Nepal and Saudi Arabia, has reached the pre-quarterfinals by becoming the group winner.
