Jun 27, Kathmandu - An 11-year-old girl was tragically gang-raped and murdered in the district. Her body was discovered in a forest in Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality-5 on Asadha 20.

According to SP Rameshwor Karki, Chief of the District Police Office, initial investigations have confirmed that the girl was subjected to gang rape and subsequently murdered.

He stated, “It was found that she was murdered after being gang-raped. Five individuals involved in the incident have been arrested.”

The police are scheduled to hold a press conference on Friday to disclose further details about the case.
