Jun 27, Kathmandu - Nepali Congress has purchased 19 aanas of land adjacent to the central office.
With the aim of making the office premises of Sanepa Lalitpur, where the central building is located, more spacious and more organized, it has been decided to purchase 19 aanas (one ropani, three annas, three paisa) of land in front of the office and a three-story house built on the same land, said Congress Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel.
The land and house, which are in the name of Amirman Amatya, a resident of Lalitpur, will be purchased by the Nepali Congress Central Office on 11 Ashadha 2082 in the presence of General Secretaries Gagan Kumar Thapa, Bishwaprakash Sharma and Treasurer Umesh Shrestha, with an agreement of Rs 50 lakh with a deposit to be passed within one year.
It is said that the land was purchased for Rs 130 million. The fixed amount of Rs 130 million will be paid by attaching the ownership of everyone through the support of party members and well-wishers at various levels, the press release said.
