Jun 28, Kathmandu - MPs from the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and the RPP have disrupted a meeting of the House of Representatives, demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak and the formation of an investigation committee into the visit visa scandal.
After Speaker Devraj Ghimire gave Prime Minister KP Oli time to address his visit to Spain, the RSP lawmakers walked out of the meeting chanting slogans.
Earlier, the RSP MPs had surrounded the bell during the emergency. The RPP MPs, however, walked out as soon as MP Roshan Karki spoke. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has informed the Parliament about his 6-day visit to Spain.
The Prime Minister has said that he will present himself in a way that upholds national interest and dignity during the visit. After informing about the visit, the Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction saying that the SEE exam results have improved.
