Jul 03, Kathmandu - Actor Dayahang Rai has been finalized as the lead actor in the film 'Pensionpatta', directed by artist Mao Tse Gurung. The production team announced on Thursday that he has been finalized as the lead actor of the film.

According to director Gurung, the work of selecting the heroine and other actors for the film is yet to be done.

‘Pensionpatta’ is the second Nepali story film to be directed by Gurung. Earlier, he directed the film ‘Dayarani’.

The hero of that film is also Dayahang. That is, Gurung is going to collaborate with Dayahang for the second time as a director.

Gurung plans to start shooting for the film from the third week of Kartik.

He said that although the title ‘Pensionpatta’ refers to the story of a former Lahore resident, the film is not related to that subject. He explained about the story, "This is a film about how greed in a person is overcome".

It is said that Gurung will also play the role of producer and actor in this film.
