Lalitpur Metropolis Anounces Full Vaccination

Jul 03, Kathmandu - Lalitpur Metropolitan City has been declared a fully immunized municipality. The Vaccination Coordination Committee has declared the metropolis a fully immunized municipality with the slogan 'Our commitment to fully immunized through the use of local resources, ownership and participation'.

The District Vaccination Coordination Committee is chaired by the District Coordination Committee. Dr. Bhuwan Poudel, member secretary of the committee and head of the District Public Health Office, handed over the full vaccination assurance certificate to the mayor, Chiribabu Maharjan.

He said that the municipality was declared a fully vaccinated municipality after it was ensured that all children of the vaccination age group had been vaccinated.

Mayor Maharjan said that the municipality had been fully vaccinated due to the continuous efforts of health workers. He said that the campaign should be conducted in the coming days as well.

According to the national vaccination schedule, the municipality was declared a fully vaccinated municipality after ensuring that all children of the age group eligible for vaccination in all 29 wards of the city were vaccinated.

The municipality conducts regular house-to-house vaccination surveys every year in the month of Chaitra to determine whether or not they have received the vaccine according to age, and if it is found that they have missed the vaccination, they will be vaccinated in the month of Baisakh.
