Jul 05, Kathmandu - China has tested a new satellite into space from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in the southwestern province of Sichuan. The Xi'an-28B01 satellite was launched at 5:35 pm (Beijing time) on Friday by a Long March-4C carrier rocket.
The satellite has successfully entered the predetermined orbit. The satellite will be mainly used for space environment exploration and related technology tests. This is the 583rd flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series.
