Former Prime Minister Khanal Leaves For China To Participate In 'World Civilization Dialogue'

Jul 07, Kathmandu - Leader of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal has left for China.

Khanal left for China today to participate in the 'World Civilization Dialogue' organized in Beijing at the invitation of the Communist Party of China (CPC). He will pay a three-day visit to Henan province before participating in the main program in Beijing, informed leader Khanal's personal secretary Krishna Bhattarai.

Former Prime Minister Khanal will visit the modern agricultural research center, digital technology company, new energy technology factory and rural revitalization model projects there. He will address as the keynote speaker at a special interaction organized by the CPC Henan Provincial Committee.

After completing the Henan program, Leader Khanal will reach Beijing, the capital of China, on Asadha 25. In Beijing, he will address two important sessions on July 10. He will address as the keynote speaker the third section of the plenary session of the Ministerial Dialogue of World Civilizations, ‘Joint Promotion of Common Values ​​of Humanity’.

On the same day, he will also deliver a keynote address at the inauguration ceremony of the sixth sub-forum titled 'Exchange of Civilizations, Mutual Learning and Academic Dialogue'.

During his stay in Beijing, Leader Khanal is scheduled to hold courtesy calls with Liu Jianchao, Head of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Communist Party of China, and other top leaders, as well as meet former prime ministers, ministers, experts, and representatives from various countries who have come to participate in the conference.

Leader Khanal is scheduled to return home on Asadha 27 after completing his five-day visit.
