Jul 07, Kathmandu - Nepal Street Premier League (NSPL), Nepal's biggest T10 cricket tournament, is scheduled to be held in Ashwin.

The competition will be organized by DGR Sports and Event Management Pvt. Ltd. from Ashwin 15 to 24 at the Lower Mulpani Ground in Kathmandu.

The brand ambassador of the tournament is actor Nikhil Upreti. Actor Upreti said that he is happy to be the brand ambassador of the cricket tournament.

7 teams will participate in the tournament and a total of 22 matches will be played. The tournament will be played on a single round robin league basis, with all the teams competing against each other, and the top 4 teams will enter the semi-finals.

According to the organizers, a team will have to be purchased to participate in the competition, and there will also be an auction process for players. The winning team will receive a prize of Rs 2.9 million and the runner-up team will receive a prize of Rs 1.1 million.

With the slogan ‘From Street to Stadium’, the NSPL aims to provide a platform for budding cricketers from across the country to showcase their talent at the national level.

The organizers have informed that they aim to promote grassroots cricket and build an inclusive and sustainable structure.
