Jul 08, Kathmandu - The bodies of two people who were swept away by the Trishuli River in Dhading were found on Tuesday.
According to DSP Subash Hamal, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Dhading, the bodies of two people were found in Keurenitar, Galchhi Rural Municipality-2, and Belkhu, Gajuri Rural Municipality-6.
Judging by the condition of the bodies, the police have estimated that they died instantly. It is estimated that the bodies may have been swept away by the flood in Bhotekoshi in Rasuwa.
Meanwhile, the pyre where the bodies were being burned in Charaudi in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-7 of Dhading was swept away by the Trishuli.
The flood that hit Trishuli since Tuesday morning swept away the pyre while the body was still burning.
Ward Chairman Kumar Basnet informed that the flood swept away the pyre while the body was being cremated. According to Basnet, it has been revealed that the person who was swept away while the body was being cremated is a relative of Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality Chairman Krishna Bahadur Thapaliya.
