Jul 08, Kathmandu - Discussions are currently underway in Baluwatar between Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and leaders including Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, Nepali Congress Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka, UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, and Prime Minister Oli's chief political advisor Bishnu Rimal, who is also the UML Deputy General Secretary, are also participating in the discussion.
The discussion between the leaders of the ruling coalition has been going on for about an hour. Immediately after the Congress meeting, Deuba went to Baluwatar for discussions with Oli.
According to a Baluwatar source, they are discussing issues including the current political situation, damage caused by floods, landslides, and inundation, and rescue efforts.
