Jul 08, Kathmandu - A Chinese national has been arrested with Rs 14.4 million. The arrested person is 40-year-old Wang Jian.

On Monday, a search was conducted at a house in Nayabasti, Bouddha, based on information about an undisclosed financial transaction, and he was arrested while conducting the transaction, the District Police Range, Kathmandu, said.

According to the police, he was living in a rented house. His Chinese passport number EG 2216171 has also been recovered and further investigation is underway, the police said.
