Jul 08, Kathmandu - A seminar on building and managing economic and trade sectors for developing countries concluded on Tuesday. The three-week seminar was attended by 24 government officials and media personnel from Nepal, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Jamaica, Mozambique, Zambia, Guyana and Ghana.
The seminar, organized by Tianjin TEDA Import and Export Pvt. Ltd. with the support of China's Ministry of Commerce, in Tianjin, featured a detailed presentation on international trade, free trade agreements, and the economic prosperity achieved by China after its entry into the World Trade Organization.
The participants were given a tour of the cities of Tianjin, Beijing and Xianjin and informed about the various companies there.
Presenting certificates at the conclusion of the seminar, Li Liping, Director of the Tianjin Commerce Commission, expressed the view that the entire world, especially developing countries, should benefit from China's experience of rapid economic development.
TEDA General Manager Su Yongsheng said that such programs, organized with the aim of informing about economic development, will be continued.
On the occasion of the conclusion of the seminar, Krishna Adhikari, a board member of the National News Agency (NNA), handed over the NNA Photo Book, 2025, published by the committee, to Li Liping, Director of the Tianjin Commerce Mission.
On the occasion, the board member Adhikari said that the photo book would be useful for understanding Nepal's culture and the initiatives taken by Nepal in infrastructure development.
Similarly, Director Liping mentioned that China is continuously supporting Nepal's economic development and said that such support will increase in the coming days.
