Jul 10, Kathmandu - The 63rd Grace List has been approved by the Annual General Meeting of Tribhuvan University.
A meeting held at the Prime Minister's Residence, Baluwatar on Thursday approved the 63rd Grace List, which includes 89,191 students who have passed in various faculties and levels.
The meeting chaired by Prime Minister and Chancellor KP Sharma Oli passed the grace list presented by Registrar Prof. Dr. Kedar Prasad Rijal. The budget and program for the fiscal year 2082-83 were presented in the meeting.
Chancellor Oli urged the university to establish itself as a competitive and capable university suitable for the 21st century. Education, Vice-Chancellor and Minister for Science and Technology Raghuji Pant emphasized that the education sector has an important role to play in fulfilling the national resolution of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’ and the university should work accordingly.
Newly appointed Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Deepak Aryal said that at least one percent (about four thousand) of the total students in the university should be foreign students.
