Traffic Awareness Classes Can Now be Attended Online

Jul 13, Kathmandu - From now on, traffic awareness classes will be conducted online.

Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak inaugurated the classes at a program organized at the Police Headquarters, Kathmandu on Sunday.

With the introduction of online awareness classes, the obligation to visit the traffic police office to take awareness classes has been eliminated. This class will be applicable to Nagarik app users.

There was a provision that those who violated traffic rules, such as drunk driving, red lights, lane discipline, and speeding, had to physically go to the office to take classes.

Earlier, the traffic police had made arrangements to pay the fine online immediately after issuing a fine.

The police has implemented this service in collaboration with Gyanbazar Pvt. Ltd.
