Jul 27, Kathmandu - Durgesh Thapa and Sisan Baniya's new song 'Jaane Bhaye Jam Maya' has set a record for the most views of a Nepali song on YouTube in 24 hours.

However, this song has missed out on becoming the fastest song to reach 10 million views. On Sunday, the 18th day, this song has been viewed 10 million times on YouTube.

The record for the fastest Nepali song to reach 10 million views is held by Prakash Saput's song 'Sakambari', which was viewed 10 million times in 7 days.

The song by Durgesh and Sisan set a record of becoming the first Nepali song to trend on YouTube in the US in 24 hours and the second Nepali song to top the Australian YouTube trending list.

Durgesh's latest song, soon after the blockbuster song 'Dushman Hereko Hereyai', was highly anticipated.
