Taliban comes from tālib, "student" in Arabic, basically, Taliban means students in its generic term. We all are well aware of the things this group does. Students of this group learn really dangerous stuff and from among them, one is the Bomb-Making course. Yes, they have a class for Bomb-Making which went terribly wrong a few days ago resulting in casualties.
At least 30 Taliban militants, who gathered inside a mosque to learn how to make bombs and IEDs, are dead after a bomb went off during the class, according to Khaama Press, an Afghan news agency.
Among those 30 were six foreign militants who claimed to be experts on Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). While teaching the Taliban soldiers how to make these home-made bombs, an explosion went off, killing the student militants and destroying the mosque in which they were learning. This happened Saturday morning (13th February 2021) in a village called Qultaq.
As per Arab News, the incident took place at 9.15 a.m. in the Qitla village of the Dawlat Abad district of Balkh province, which lies some 450 km to the north of the capital city Kabul and shares its border with Uzbekistan, ministry officials said.
To the whole incident, Taj Mohammad, an analyst says an independent investigation is needed to find out Was it an airstrike or accident or bomb-making training as the government claims?
Contradicting the fact received, the Taliban only confirms the blast but denies loss of lives.
