Oct 19, Kathmandu - Chief of Army Staff General Ashok Raj Sigdel has presented the rank insignia of Rathi to Lieutenant General Ganesh Kumar Shrestha, who has been promoted to the rank of Rathi.

He has been promoted to the rank of Rathi from Ashwin 30 as per the decision of the Government of Nepal, Council of Ministers. With the promotion, Rathi Shrestha has been appointed as the Chief of Staff.

The program organized to award the rank insignia was attended by the Rathi Brigade and officers, as well as the family members of the promoted Rathi Brigade.
