May 21, Kathmandu - Indian Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah has sent 40 kg of sandalwood to the Pashupatinath Temple.

On the occasion of Pushya Nakshatra, he sent sandalwood to the Pashupatinath Temple through Nepali Congress MP Sandeep Rana.

The sandalwood has been handed over to the Pashupatinath Area Development Fund office under the Guthi Sansthan. The sandalwood was handed over in the presence of Rawal Ganesh Bhatta, the chief priest of the temple, to be used in the daily worship of Pashupatinath.
