School closed after teacher-student showed corona-like symptoms

February 25, Kathmandu- The school has been closed for a few days after the teachers and students of Dhuli Secondary School in Saipal Gaonpalika-4 of Bajhang suddenly fell ill. The school has been closed for about a week after Corona-like symptoms began to appear.

Dhan Bahadur Bista, assistant principal of Dhuli Mavic, said that the sick students and teachers had symptoms like cough, fever, sore throat, nausea, and dizziness. Such symptoms are seen in students and some teachers teac in classes 6 to 9 of the school.

A meeting of the school management committee on Wednesday closed the school after the sick students and teachers did not recover after a week of medical treatment.

The school has 245 students and 11 teachers. The school informed that there was no change in the patients even though they received first aid from the nearby Dhuli Community Health Center.

A few days ago, similar symptoms were also seen in the students and teachers of Dhalaun Mavic in Dhalaun. Other teachers and students at the school were closed for four days after the symptoms spread. According to local Vasant Bohora, the school is now operational after treatment.
