Jun 05, Kathmandu - The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration has directed employees whose details regarding study leave or extraordinary leave have not been updated in the National Bookstore (Civil Service) to immediately update their records.
The ministry issued a notice on Thursday (Jestha 21), urging the concerned employees to mandatorily update their records within three days from the date of publication of the notice.
Along with this, the ministry has directed all ministries, commissions, secretariats and central-level offices to verify the details of employees who have been approved for study or extraordinary leave at various times by their bodies and update the recording process.
The notice indicates that necessary action will be taken in accordance with the prevailing law in the case of employees who do not attend the office even after the study or extraordinary leave period ends and have not been in contact with the office for a long time.
The government stated that the notice was issued with the objective of making record management in the civil service more systematic, transparent and accountable and ensuring updated details regarding the actual status of employees.
