Jun 07, Kathmandu - A book titled ‘Tyo Nepal’ has been released.

Writer and journalist Dadi Sapkota has compiled the experiences of French people who have made Nepal their workplace and released the book.

Launching the book in Kathmandu on Sunday, author Sapkota said that while writing the book, he realized that Nepalese people do not have as much experience as French people about Nepal.

He also said that some French people have walked from Kathmandu to Dhankuta.

The book covers the relationship between Nepal and France, as well as the history and culture of Nepal, as seen and experienced by French citizens.

Based on interviews: The book contains conversations and memoirs of 29 French citizens who have visited Nepal at different times, worked in Nepal, and have a special affinity with Nepal.

The book is published by Fineprint Books.
