Harka Sampang says – I am being insulted for loving my country

Jun 13, Kathmandu - Harkaraj Rai (Sampang), the Chairman of the Shram Sanskriti Party, has voiced concerns over the abuse and insults he has faced for advocating for the nation. Speaking at a party event in Kathmandu on Saturday, Jestha 30, Rai claimed that speaking out for the country's interests has subjected him to disrespect and derogatory remarks.

He recounted that during his tenure as the mayor of Dharan, he received around 1,000 insults daily, a number he says has now soared to approximately 10,000 per day. Rai also mentioned that he was insulted during the construction of a bridge in Darchula and expressed suspicion that there is an organized social media campaign targeting him with coordinated abuse.
