Jun 21, Kathmandu - ​​​​​​​Dreams Universal LLC has revealed the top 20 finalists for ‘Miss Nepal North America 2026’. This prestigious competition, which promotes Nepali women, culture, leadership, and achievements across North America, is celebrating its ninth edition this year with a special focus on Washington, D.C.

Previously held in New York, the contest has been relocated to the U.S. capital to mark the 250th anniversary of America’s independence. Organizers believe this move will better showcase the growing presence, contributions, and recognition of the Nepali community within American society.

The selected contestants come from diverse professional, educational, and life backgrounds—including active military personnel, healthcare workers, nurses, pilots, engineers, IT specialists, entrepreneurs, students, and community activists.

Shailendra Shrestha, the event chairperson, emphasized that Miss Nepal North America is more than a beauty pageant; it is a platform to foster leadership development, boost self-confidence, and instill pride in cultural identity among young women.

The grand finale will take place on July 26, 2026, in Washington, D.C., where contestants will participate in interviews, cultural presentations, talent showcases, and leadership activities. The winner will receive the esteemed title of ‘Miss Nepal North America 2026,’ along with scholarship opportunities and the chance to represent the Nepali community on national and international platforms.
