Investigation Underway Into Alleged Mental Abuse at Budhanilkantha School

Jun 28, Kathmandu - Police are continuing their investigation into allegations of mental abuse involving a female student at Budhanilkantha School. Authorities are working to gather evidence and question individuals related to the incident.

According to Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, Superintendent of Police and spokesperson at the District Police Office, Bhadrakali, a complaint was filed at the Maharajgunj Police Circle regarding the incident connected to the school. Based on the complaint, police are collecting statements and evidence from those involved. However, no arrests have been made so far.

“Since the case involves minors, both the victim and the accused are treated with sensitivity. We are conducting a thorough investigation before taking further action,” said Bhattarai.

He also emphasized that police are examining whether the accused is genuinely responsible for the misconduct. The case will proceed according to legal procedures once evidence confirms the involvement of the suspect.
