Jul 18, Kathmandu - The official application process for Miss Universe Nepal 2026 has been officially launched. Global Glamour Ventures announced the commencement during an event held at Soaltee Hotel in Kathmandu on Friday, unveiling the upcoming national pageant.
According to organizers, the primary aim of the competition is to discover talented, intelligent, confident, and leadership-driven women who can represent Nepal on the global stage.
Sangita Puri, National Director of Miss Universe Nepal, shared that her team has prepared an even more grand and spectacular event this year. She added that the grand finale is scheduled to take place at Soaltee Hotel in Kathmandu on September 6.
Sabi Puri, CEO of the organizing body, informed that both married and unmarried women are eligible to participate this year. Moreover, Nepalese women residing abroad, including Non-Resident Nepali (NRN) women, will also have the opportunity to compete.
Sanya Adhikari was crowned Miss Universe Nepal 2025. Following her reign, the new edition invites ambitious Nepali women from both Nepal and abroad to apply.
The choreography for this year's pageant will be directed by Prashant Tamrakar. The organizers have issued a call to aspiring young women with the question, "Are you the next Miss Universe Nepal 2026?" to participate in the main event.
Special emphasis will be placed on personal identity, social advocacy, and leadership qualities. The organizers aim to elevate the level of beauty competitions in Nepal through this platform.
The title sponsor for this year's event is Deepal, a prominent electric vehicle brand. Deipal CEO Vivek Sikari expressed his enthusiasm about partnering with Miss Universe Nepal.
Applications are now open, and interested and eligible candidates can register via the official website or mobile app of Miss Universe Nepal.
