Health Camp Benefits Nearly 500 People in Makawanpur; Community Initiatives Promote Education and Environment

Jul 19, Kathmandu - A health camp held in Tistung, Ward 11 of Thaha Municipality, benefitted 477 residents on Saturday, offering essential medical services including dental care, X-rays, eye examinations, and physiotherapy. The event was organized jointly by Rotary Club of Kathmandu West, Kathmandu West Satellite Rotary Club, and Shanti Sewa Griha Clinic & Rehabilitation Center. 

Doctors provided free treatment and also distributed toys, swings, dental kits, and glasses to children as needed, ensuring comprehensive healthcare support for the community.

In addition to healthcare, the social organizations donated eight computers to Nateshwar Secondary School in Ward 10 of Thaha Municipality to support education. To promote environmental conservation and greenery, 400 saplings were planted in Ward 12 of Thaha Municipality, contributing to ecological sustainability.
