Gold and Silver Prices Rise in Local Market Amid International Market Trends

Jul 19, Kathmandu - The prices of gold and silver have increased compared to last Friday. Gold prices have surged by NPR 1,900 per tola, while silver has gone up by NPR 40.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of one tola of 24-karat pure gold is now NPR 284,000, and the same quantity of silver is valued at NPR 4,240.

Last Friday, the buying and selling prices for one tola of gold were NPR 282,100, and silver was priced at NPR 4,200.

International media reports indicate that today, gold is trading at US$4,031 per ounce, and silver at US$56 per ounce in global markets.
