14-Year-Old Thai Student had Killed Grandparents before Shooting at School

Aug 07, Kathmandu - In Thailand, a 14-year-old student reportedly shot and killed his grandparents before opening fire at a school near Bangkok, resulting in at least six fatalities and 15 injuries. The teenager then took his own life by shooting himself.

According to police investigations, the minor fired at least 26 rounds, with an additional 34 rounds recovered from his possession. The firearm used was reportedly owned by his grandfather.

The shooting occurred at Debsirin Nonthaburi School in Bang Kruai district, Nonthaburi Province. Students panicked and fled the scene amid the chaos. Emergency responders treated injured students with gunshot wounds to the back, chest, and arms. Authorities also found a male teacher dead on an upper floor of the school, while a female teacher was discovered injured with gunshot wounds to her chest and arms.

This tragic event has shocked the nation and raised urgent questions about safety and mental health support for students.
