CPN (UML) MPs Restricted from Keeping Family Members in Official Privileges

Aug 07, Kathmandu - The Nepal Communist Party (UML) MPs have been barred from keeping any family members as part of official privileges. The UML parliamentary party held a meeting on Friday, during which they approved new standards and procedures regarding official facilities.

According to the guidelines, MPs may only designate individuals other than their family members for official duties and privileges. This move comes after widespread public criticism over MPs reportedly maintaining family members within official perks and facilities.
