Aug 13, Kathmandu - Senior journalist Kishor Shrestha was taken to the District Attorney's Office in Kathmandu on Thursday before being produced in court for an extension of his time.

Shrestha, who was arrested late on Wednesday, was taken to the Attorney General's Office in handcuffs.

According to SSP Santosh Khadka of the Kathmandu Valley Criminal Investigation Office, Shrestha was arrested for violating personal privacy. The police arrested him near his residence in Lalitpur.

Shrestha is the owner and editor of Janaastha Weekly and Janaastha.com.
