Nepal’s national cricket team will conduct its preparatory camp in India ahead of the ACC Premier Cup in Malaysia.

Aug 14, Kathmandu - The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) organized a farewell program in Kathmandu on Friday, officially sending off the team. The Nepalese squad will train in India before heading directly to Malaysia to participate in the tournament.

Scheduled to begin on August 30 in Malaysia, the ACC Premier Cup will feature one-day matches among participating nations.

CAN announced a 14-member team led by captain Sandeep Lamichhane for the tournament, excluding players such as Bhim Sarki, Nandan Yadav, Kushal Malla, and Sompal Kami.

The squad includes Sandeep Lamichhane (captain), Asif Shiekh, Arjun Kuman, Rohit Paudel, Dev Khanal, Dipendra Singh Airee, Basir Ahmad, Ishan Pandey, Gulsan Jha, Sher Malla, Lalit Rajbanshi, Karan KC, Hemanth Dhamai, and Sandeep Jora.

Nepal will open their campaign against Bahrain on August 31, followed by matches against Malaysia on September 3, Saudi Arabia on September 6, and Hong Kong China on September 8.
