Aug 15, Kathmandu - On the occasion of India's 80th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced an ambitious government initiative to train one crore (10 million) young Indians in Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills within the next year. Addressing the nation from the Red Fort in New Delhi, Modi emphasized the importance of developing a skilled workforce in the rapidly advancing field of AI.

Highlighting the pivotal role of youth in transforming India into a developed nation, Modi stressed the need to equip young people with modern skills aligned with technological progress. The government’s goal is to prepare the youth to compete globally by providing specialized training in AI, thereby fostering innovation and technological leadership.
