Aug 17, Kathmandu - Renowned TikTok personality Shamsu Bibi, popularly known as Ayesha Gilamana, was shot and killed near the Taxila area outside Islamabad. 

According to police reports, Ayesha was out of her house in a car with her 15-year-old sister Aseema and brother Naimatullah when armed assailants on a motorcycle opened fire on their vehicle. The incident occurred shortly after they left their home.

A police complaint states that the gunfire struck Ayesha in the neck, resulting in her instant death at the scene. Her father, Fazal Sahibzada, reported that after the shooting, their car lost control and collided with another vehicle, leaving Aseema seriously injured.

Ayesha, who had been creating TikTok videos for the past 3-4 years, amassed over 1.3 million followers. Her father claims that she had recent financial disputes with some individuals, and after demanding repayment, she received threats to her life.

He also suspects certain individuals, including Kausar, Javed alias Shaheen, and Kashif alias Kashim, of involvement in the murder, and has filed a police report against them. However, their involvement has not yet been proven.

Police have registered a case under sections related to murder, attempted murder, and conspiracy, naming the suspects and two unidentified individuals, and are continuing their investigation.
