Aug 24, Kathmandu - Gold prices continued to rise on Monday, with a significant increase from the previous day. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of gold per tola has increased by NPR 3,200, reaching NPR 322,700 on Monday. This follows a jump of NPR 2,800 per tola on Sunday, when gold was traded at NPR 319,500.

Meanwhile, silver prices saw a decline on Monday. After trading at NPR 4,975 per tola on Sunday, silver is now being bought and sold at NPR 4,965 per tola, reflecting a decrease of NPR 10 compared to the previous day.

Internationally, the federation reports that gold is trading at USD 1,651 per ounce on Monday.
