Aug 31, Kathmandu - South Korean popular K-pop group Stray Kids member Lee Know has generously donated approximately 72,000 USD to aid families displaced and affected by recent devastating floods in Nepal.

His management agency, JYP Entertainment, announced the donation on Monday. According to the agency, Lee Know provided the funds through World Vision on August 28, aiming to assist in rescue, relief, and livelihood support for flood-affected children and families.

The donated amount will be utilized to distribute food, nutritional supplies, temporary shelter, clean drinking water, and sanitation programs to the impacted communities, as per World Vision's statement.

Expressing his thoughts on the donation, Lee Know stated that even a small effort can bring relief and encouragement to those enduring the hardships of the disaster. He expressed hope that displaced citizens and relief workers can return to normal life as soon as possible.

Lee Know has been actively involved in various social and humanitarian initiatives. Since 2014, he has supported and sponsored children abroad through World Vision. In 2024, he contributed another $72,000 to a global food crisis response program targeting children in impoverished countries, making him the youngest member of the ‘Bob Piers Honor Club’ established in the name of World Vision founder Bob Pierce.

Additionally, in 2025, he donated a total of 200 million Nepali rupees to Samsung Seoul Hospital and the Cat Rescue Organization. The funds were used for treating children and adults suffering from serious illnesses.

The group’s latest EP, "This and That," released on August 7, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States. This marks their ninth consecutive achievement of reaching the top spot on the chart.

As Stray Kids continues promoting their new EP and touring, Lee Know’s humanitarian gesture in Nepal has garnered widespread attention, highlighting his dedication not only to music but also to social service.
