Sep 03, Kathmandu - During a live session of the House of Representatives, Nepali Congress MP and Chair of the Public Accounts Committee, Bharat Khadka, suddenly collapsed from his seat. 

Following his fall, the Speaker of the House paused proceedings to prevent MP Som Sharma from speaking, and temporarily suspended the session.

Dr. Ojaswi Sherchan, who attended to Khadka, confirmed that the MP experienced dizziness due to high blood pressure and fell from his seat. Khadka has been taken to the hospital for further treatment.
