Sep 08, Kathmandu - The fourth batch of emergency relief supplies provided by the Chinese government arrived today in Kathmandu. The materials were flown into Tribhuvan International Airport aboard a massive Y-20A transport aircraft operated by the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force.

A ceremony at the airport was attended by Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming and Nepal's Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation, Mahavir Pun, who participated in the handover of the relief materials.

This latest shipment includes hovercrafts for rescue operations, permanent magnet flood pumps made of stainless steel, spare batteries, Mortuary freezers, and solar lights. These supplies, sent with Nepal's urgent needs in mind, are expected to significantly aid emergency rescue efforts and subsequent disaster management in affected areas.
