BRICS Summit in New Delhi: Xi Jinping Proposes Five Key Areas for Enhanced Collaboration

Sep 13, Kathmandu - On the second day of the BRICS summit in New Delhi, Chinese President Xi Jinping unveiled five major proposals to strengthen cooperation among BRICS nations. The initiatives focus on artificial intelligence, trade and investment facilitation, digital industry, smart manufacturing, and workforce development.

Addressing the summit, President Xi emphasized the importance of building a solid foundation for practical cooperation within BRICS. He highlighted leveraging emerging markets' strengths and their connections with the Global South to foster openness and collaboration, ensuring mutual benefits and shared success.

Xi also stressed the need to keep industrial and supply chains stable and disruption-free to develop an integrated market. His proposals include modernizing traditional industries, developing emerging sectors, and establishing advanced planning and innovation incubators for future industries.

He concluded by emphasizing the importance of collaboration on new technologies to create a shared path toward prosperity for all member nations.
