Sep 17, Kathmandu - The government has granted an additional 30 days for public servants and employees working in disaster-affected areas to submit their property details. The extension aims to assist those unable to meet the initial deadline due to recent floods and other calamities.

The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs, and General Administration’s National Records Management Office announced that this extension specifically targets employees operating in the disaster-stricken regions of Rasuwa’s Bhote Koshi area, which was declared a disaster zone following the floods on Bhadra 10, 2083 BS.

According to the office, government officials, civil servants, police personnel, and teachers deployed for relief, rescue, and management efforts in these affected zones will benefit from this deadline extension. The new deadline is now set for Bhadra 30, 2083 BS, extending the submission period by 30 days.

However, officials must submit an official recommendation letter from their respective offices clearly stating the reasons for missing the original deadline due to the disaster. All affected employees are urged to submit their property details along with the necessary documents within this extended period.
