Sep 24, Kathmandu - The District Administration Office of Chitwan has announced a complete suspension of all vehicular movement on the Narayangarh-Muglin road from 8:00 PM tonight until 5:00 AM on Friday. 

The decision comes in response to the increased risk of disasters such as floods, landslides, and inundation due to ongoing heavy rainfall. The administration aims to ensure the safety of passengers and vehicles by halting traffic during this hazardous period.

According to the notice, the Nepal Meteorological Department has issued a warning of extremely heavy rainfall in the coming days, which could trigger natural calamities like floods, landslides, and waterlogging. Therefore, all vehicles are prohibited from traveling on the Narayangarh-Muglin section from 8:00 PM on Bhadra 8, 2083, to 5:00 AM on Bhadra 9, 2083.

This measure is taken to safeguard lives and property, and all concerned authorities and travelers are advised to stay informed and plan accordingly.
